| Ok so fast qusetion. If i ordered something at 10PM Saturday night, and it is 2-5 day shipping, what are the odds that it will come by friday? |

| pretty good. the 2-5 estimate really i think is more of a 3-4 day thing. depends on the company, the shipping partner, and the weather of course. |

| When you order something on line, and say it says 5-10, always think it will take 10 days. They only ship on business days and mail always has misshapes. |

| check the tracking number and it usually has a good estimated time |

| closely depends where its shipped from unless its guaranteed overnight.. if its close eyoure more likeyl on the 2day than the 5.. shipped from same state/city might even come the next day |

I ordered a book from Amazon like 2 days ago and it cost $5 to ship it. D:
Just standard shipping, too.
It's a 300-page paperback book. I don't get it. Is postage a fossil fuel or something? :conf: |

Because you make a killing marking up freight, even if its only a couple bucks each shipment. Because they ship so much it probably doesnt cost them much at all (their price) through their shipping account/agreement. Easy Money and you really cant argue being "ripped off" over a buck or two. All companies do it. |

Pretty much. You gotta factor in: Box, packing material, the guy who boxes it up. Its easy to justify 5 bucks. |
