Yes someone can be 25lbs overweight and still be healthy, have you forgotten muscles weights more than fat? Also what is the "standard" weight we all have different body sizes so to say "you are this tall so you should be x weight" doesn't seem right. I know I'm heavier than I look and I know it isn't from being a fat ass.

I wasn't talking about 25 pounds over weight in comparison to the "ideal" size. I'm talking about straight 25 pounds of unhealthy mass, on ANY person, in comparison to their own personal fitness. |

i agree. when i see the term "overweight", i think it refers to mass the person not only is willing to, but SHOULD cut. if you have 30 pounds of muscles on you, then you're definitely not overweight, you are just big and strong. |

| If you say someone is 25lbs overweight you need a threshold to measure the overage? What I meant is that there is no uniform threshold so how can you say someone is x lbs overweight. Basically what I meant is that height to weight ratio is crap. |

| yeah, the height to weight ratio is crap. but the 25lbs mark was posted by someone referring to themselves, not suggested by anyone else. |
