| Just like the Weather in Britain it has been a summer for music in every genre. 2005 was funky house, 2006 was electro house.. both had some really memorable tunes. This year we get fukin Samin - Heater..... |

haha yeah. I know this question is asked all the time. like "TOP 2007 SONGS"
but I want songs that really define ibiza this year. Songs that every DJ plays in the clubs.

2006 was definitely the year of electro. |

2008 will be the year of dubstep
2009 will be the year of white-noise laced dubstep
2010 will be the year of pink-noise
2011 will be the year of brown-noise
2012 will be the year we all die because of Mayan Doomsday |

Yes. It's as credible as any other thread on here.
For me, Samin - Heater was one, cus Picotto managed to play it at both Meganights I went to; it got played about 5 times in my day trip to Space, and at every bar. It's just a bit of a laugh that tune.
For trance, on the techier side Mojado - Kaktus was one that just blew up every time. I also herd Armin drop Mojado - Morpho twice, which blew me away both times! Sander Van Doorn - Riff also did the rounds - not my favourite tune, but blew clubs to shreds.
As for epic trance, I couldn’t get my head around ‘Vast Vision’ – ‘Summer Blush’, which Armin played and followed up with ‘7 cites’. That will never be forgotten. Also, there is JKN & ‘Jahala’ – ‘Why’ and the Cosmic Gate remix of fly away for hands in the air moments.
Then, for Ibiza classics, Oakenfold played 'Ascension' -'Someone', which is one of the ones which got me into it that I never thought I would hear out, and also Ferry playing '1999', with ice cannon completely erupting in my face!
So that’s what made Ibiza one of the best holidays I will ever have this year :-) |

Without a doubt the biggest trance tune is Sander van Doorn's Riff.
And as far as house goes, probably I Found You. |
