I've been wondering about this the past few weeks for some reason...
Pretend you had a quarter size birthmark on your arm. If you had that part of your skin peeled off entirely (for example), when the skin reformed, would the birthmark re-appear as well, same as it was, or not?
Is the birthmark itself fundamentally encoded in your DNA such that it would it always reappear in that spot if you lost your skin there for some reason?
What do you all think? Google hasnt been that helpful in finding an real answer, and I'm genuinely curious for curiosity's sake to see what yall each think about the matter... |

no, you can't get rid of the tattoo that you NOW know says "ass of dog" in chinese
:P
but my guess is that the birth mark will still show |

my brother had one, with hair growing out of it.
he had it removed, which was basically them cutting a few layers of skin off where it was, then folding the skin into each other; then sewing it all up.
there is no sign of it anymore. |
