though i suppose i always assumed people knew that it was meant to be similar to the word 'gene', but the only reason i know that was because i was introduced to the word from the site memepool, where it was fairly obvious how it was pronounced. actually, when i first found that site i didn't even know it was a word, i thought the site just made it up :p |
