when i 2x clicked on the background.html file itself, it happened. and it opened it w/ IE too. blah :(
edit, so it worked - and no w/ popups....but still uses IE and, really, i was hoping was going to open up the links on the desktop - not a new browser. oh well, neat idea tho :) |

But you fail to grasp the full potential of this method.
Simply link the background file to a photobucket gif or a cool flash webpage and you have an awesome animated desktop !! :D |

| All it that does is replace your desktop background with an IE web browser window. I would think that your filters should still stop everything. It is just dumping all of the images and such in the normal cache for IE. Only difference between having an actual window open vs the desktop thing is just that. No window. |

| pssh..w/e :o Besides, I really liked the concept of an animated desktop. you can do cool things with it. :) I always wanted to know how to put a gif image or flash object as a wallpaper. Know any other method ? |

| doesn't seem to work with vista. i don't think vista will allow you to select anything other than a picture for a desktop. anyone know how to get this to work in vista? |
