Eco-tourism is pretty neat - and interestingly enough Mexico and Costa Rica are two of the countries at the forefront of promoting "Leave-No-Trace Eco Tours."
I really, really want to go to Costa Rica for one, my cousin lived there for a year and absolutely loved it.
Glad to see you had fun and didn't do typical Cancun BS :) |

went on a trip once, to hotel barcelo in some island a while back.
all you can eat, all you can drink, free use of all sport things, free horse rides by the beach, free club @ night...
all for 56 dollars a night.... i was 17 at the time... so funny, at some bars they would be like "where is your wristband saying you are 18?..
at some bars they were like "here take 2, because you know you will come back and have to make the line"
in other words, costa rica rocks.... enjoy it :) |

did some eco tourism when i was down in costa rica a couple of years ago... ing beautiful little country... we went rapelling in the forest, down like waterfalls and stuff- was crazy... hit up the hot springs at the volcano, went surfing....
costa rica wins! |
