you deffinately don't know what you're talking about, I saw pvd last month and although it wasn't a bad set (excluding the stupid anthem and the cheese stack for the guidos) it deffinately doesn't even come close to the damage he did 4-7 years ago. |
How old are you? I could of swore in an earlier thread, that it was exposed you were under 18.... |

you don't have to be old to have heard old sets lol. and I think you guys may be missing the point. His sets have gotten progressively worse(although i still love the sets) but even though they are excellent sets and I go everytime I can, they are not the same as before. why? and here is the key point, b/c he is out of his prime. something I think a lot of people overlook is that eventually at some point everyone in any profession will be out of his prime and will not live up to their own standards.
He's been doin this for what 15-20 years or so? It eventually had to run out. So I mean of course he is not the same as before but his sets are a lot better than a lot of crap out there. So while his productions and everything have gone more commercial, remember pvd for what he use to be ;) |

| I would be dissppointed if PVD style remained the same... I like progression. I would also argue the lack of quality compared to 5 years ago. I still think he is a brilliant dj, and imo the best in the trance genre. |

My age has absolutely no effect on my knowledge of pvd's earlier sets and his sets today. I might be under age but I'm not deaf nor stupid.

I hate when you guys say this. You guys say it like it happens to everyone and nobody can fight against it or stop it. Hey look at Sven Vath, almost two decades later the guy still kills at gig, spinning brilliant stuff just like he did back then or even better. |

The scene doesn't stand and fall with PvD, Armin or Tiësto.
There will always be a "next generation" wich does better then the previous at some point and then takes over. |

Sven was at his prime in the early 90s. I don't think his sets today are nowhere nearly as good. I remember the article from 98 where he said he'd had enough of Trance. I can respect that, but truthfully I don't think his productions and sets have been nearly as good since (though they are interesting at times). |

this kind of groups are making BIG BUCKS. In a lot of european countries Kids in the age 4-12 are absolutely loving this. And the parents keep on buying the cd's + merchandise. |

| i havent heard the whole "in between" album. but i have heard about half the songs on it and i rather like PVD's new album. i like ferry corsten alot, his new stuff such as brain box or the race are good tracks, but i rather like his older stuff more. |
