not like a friend of mine, he's 20, put up with this girl for a whole year, because he thought he really loved her. she was a virgin, he respected that. she had quite a few emotional issues, and he helped her through them. then she asked him for some time to grow. he happily complied. she then proceeded to one of his best friends a week later.
