My review:
Blake Jarrell - Good house set as was expected, but there were literally like 30 people there and no one was dancing. Poor Blake.
Matthew Dekay - The guy in the lobby was better than Dekay. Seriously, worst hour and a half of the evening.
Markus Schulz - This guy knows how to pump up a crowd. I'm usually not a big fan of his radio show (I love his artist albums though), but I was pretty into his set. Congress sucks though because the bass was so high you couldn't even recognize anything, and that goes for all the DJs.
Armin - I went nucking futs. I agree his set was more repetitive and proggy than his usual live sets, but I bet he was catering to more of the "Chicago house" crowd than the hardcore melodic trance crowd. He made the crowd go nuts with Big Sky, Falling, New York City, Riff, The Sound of Goodbye, etc. But like I said, the bass was so high that you couldn't even recognize alot of the tracks... for example, he played Oceanic but the only reason I could tell was because I've listened to that track 203742340823485 times and have memorized the bassline. You couldn't even hear the piano. And I think he played Breakfast's new track (The Horizon), but once again, I'm not so sure...
Last night was the best night of my life. It could have been a bit better, but I think that's because of the venue's acoustics, not him. |

| damn dude u r fast!! lol ... Armin is the coolest guy ever,period!and he loves our station ( www.afterhours.fm ) , we have often his shows broadcasted :) |

well thank you :) but i think dekay was pretty good from what i heard his last 15min when i was done at the lobby..some nice bangin tunes |

I agree! Was not expecting to hear that tune at all. It was a nice surprise. |
