to those who have been, whats this venue like? any idea when the ChemBros will be playing from if doors are at 5pm with an opener -- im hoping its after sunset... (?)

I was there for armin...
the sound system wasnt that good but be careful dont stand in the back because theres a big reverb that you hear, i found the sweetspot to be somewhere in the middle.. The lasers/lighting were kinda weak too, compared to pvd @ cp even..
Hopefully they'll improve because this will be made's second time at mccarren..
Oh there were no problems with food/toilets though! |

Visiting Manhattan 9/21 - 9/24 and thinking of seeing the Chemical Brothers here.
Is there a website link for more info? (i.e. tickets, set times, etc...)

| beastie boys were at mccarren and it was much louder than armin was so hopefully they won't be afraid to up the volume |

it's the greatest place youve ever been to...where the spectator floor is paved with gold and the speakers are made of swiss chocolate...YOU CAN EAT THE SPEAKERS IF YOU WANT TO!!!..and they sprinkle fairy dust all over you and for a few seconds, but only for a few seconds, you get to float on air...that's right, actually float on air!!
