The meat of my setup consists of cdj1000's, the djm800, and serato. I want to add an efx1000 to my setup, but have a few questions. I have searched google, other forums, and this site for info, but have come up short. so, i figured i'd ask you guys...
can you use the efx1000 with serato?
if so, what mode is optimal (relative or absolute)?
will the efx be on beat with my cdj's/serato, or will i have to use the manual tap button?
are there any drawbacks (limitations) of using the efx with serato?
i'd appreciate any other input covering subjects/issues i've overlooked.
thanks in advance,

While I can't comment on Serato per se, I was using my EFX 1000 with Torq and had no issues at all. It functioned exactly as it did with cd's. Also I have a friend using an EFX 500 with serato vinyls. No issues for him.... Not sure if that helps 100%, hopfully others can chime in |

The EFX will connect to the DJM-800's send and return, so the fact that you are playing out of Serato is irrelevant... it'll work just the same on any deck.
