haha in my review of LOL I was speaking about the hilarity of those moments. DT kept coming on the mic and talking about all this NYC and the crackie 10am crowd (us ny'ers included) were like "WOOOOOO!!" the crowd oh-so-obviously thought he meant switching from CD's to vinyl :haha: :haha:
DT had the crowd by his hands tho: he told them to sing koom-by-ya, he cut the music, and they did. He told the to cheer for vinyl, they did. He talked about NYC for 15 solid minutes and the crowd thought it was the best thing since slice bread. He said that canada is his FIFTH favortie place to play and people went WILD. He talked one-on-one with jay OVER the music on the mic for like 5 minutes.... and the crowd cheers. He played "africa" and they went nuts. He told the light guy to kill the lights and he did. The whole thing was just hilarious. tres sketch indeed.

dt is deff one of the funniest djs out there
i rememebr at neptunes on 4th of july a bouncer went in the dj booth told him to lower the volume and he did
a sec later he gets on the mic and says "iam sorry but they asked me to lower the volume they are killin the vibe" everyone started to boo a lil
a sec later while the bouncer was just walkin out the booth dt gets back on the mic and says "its ok ill bring it back up in 5 min"
the bouncer must have felt like a idiot lol |

At Vinyl, when he got on the mic, it wasnt annoying cause he did it occasionally and it usually got the crowd amped up more for what he was about to throw down. Now, its like he does it as if its expected and ppl stand there like morons and listen to his speach. is annoying when DJ talks on mic for in 5 mins straight. |

werd i agree he is deff a balber mouth
he has calmed down the past few gigs
hes deff a queen and with his rules
but for afterhours hes on point |
