I don't think sex dreams are weird, god you guys really have selective reading comprehension, lol.
I have sex dreams all the time...just never about my friends. It's not some repressed desire thing, because I'm totally in tune with myself, hence why it was weird. I've never been the type to not acknowledge my true feelings, etc.
Also, it wasn't like a "sexy" sex dream. It was just weird, lol. I was neither turned on nor repulsed...it was just what it was. And yes, it was a fairly good friend. |

For what it's worth... the people and places we see in our dreams seldom have any significance. Those images are randomly selected. You were not dreaming about having sex with your friend... you were dreaming about sex... your brain randomly selected to attach your friend's face on the person you were having sex with because without a face the image would not be complete... since your brain only has a finite number of faces stored in memory (the amount you've seen) it is presumable that it will select the faces of friends from time to time. Just like it you dream about being at a party some of the guests will be kids you went to grade school with... they'll still be like 10 because that's how you remember them... not because you're dreaming about cutting lines with kids. |
