omg all I have to say is that I wish I looked like that NOW, let alone after 2 kids. :rolleyes: No wonder supa stars have mental breakdowns and are anorexic.....people are so effin critical.
Did the performance suck? uh...yeah. Does anyone every consider that she was hella nervous because the media has been tearing her up lately? (not to mention the stress of a divorce/custody battle/problems within her family/ and her obvious suffering frmo depression??)
She had a lot to prove, and failed. But the girl doesnt deserve half the comments about her looks, I dont CARE if she is a performer or not. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: |

I'm sorry but if you're nervous about the media tearing you up, then way to friggin make em talk some more. I mean what happened to rising against adversity?
And how about the fact that she looked like she was on a combo of prozac, xanax, zoloft and possibly every other prescription med out there. You can be nervous, yes, but that glassy-eyed stare is NOT nervousness.
The stress of divorce/custody/problems with her fam/etc etc? Can you say "brought on to herself"? She married an asshat, she divorced the asshat, she threatens her mom with a restraining order, she parties 24/7... i could say much more. This is a woman who makes 750k a damn month! She has the money to get to rehab, have the best trainers, the best doctors, the best people to take care of her kids (since apparently she is unable to do it herself) and yet acts like a piece of trash. I'm sorry i just don't buy the "poor Britney, her life is so hard, wah wah wah" deal. There are a lot of single mothers out there who go through worse than she does, with a hell of a lot less money to do it. She made her bed, well she's lying in it now.
As for body thing, i think most people (well at least most of the ones i talked to) are not saying her body in general is , just that if you don't yet have the body to prance around on stage in a bra and matching panties, then put on something a little less revealing and look like a million dollars! |

Sorry, but at that level, you have to be able to perform through those real life troubles. Being one of the best selling singers in the last 10 years, carries a certain amount of responsibility towards your performance.
Regardless of her troubles away from the studio booth, how would that affect somebody properly choreographing an entertaining routine? You could tell that she 'danced' the steps she was supposed to, although she did stumble through them. Had there been twirls, and kicks, which she stumbled through, you may have a point about pressure, but an exciting routine wasn't even practiced. |

I remember reading somewhere saying that Spears was partying and going out the nights before the performance instead of practicing her routine...

well then she should have known it would NOT go well and maybe she should have refrained from partying. cmon, exercise a bit of control in ur sad life, girl! i used to hear that she was zealous about her rehearsals pre-Kevin. well the above definitely does NOT sound like preparation.
