Yeah EW carp.

edit: YUM rye bread though. I used to hate the kind with caraway seeds in it, but now I love it! We always had it growing up. :)

Funny thing is, they have a list of ingredients on their flour bags

I could go for some Popeye's right now though

My girlfriend is Hungarian and she's made this dish for me. It's definatly a good one. :P

I remember once when I was about 11, back in Slovakia in my grandfather's village, which was mostly all Hungarian back then... one of his neighbours, an older lady, had all sorts of livestock, pigs, rabbits, small chickens, ducks, hens and like three roosters I think. Sometimes when they had family visiting, they would slaughter one of the chickens and then cook it. One time they cooked some chicken paprikash (I don't know if it was from their own chickens or whether they bought it) and they brought some on a big plate for my grandfather to try. It was a whole big portion, authentically Hungarian, complete with the sour cream and seasoned with ground red pepper and had "halushky" as an accompaniment and all that. My grandpa gave it to me to eat instead, so I did. I ate it and thought it was ok, but then half an hour later I got such a big stomachache that I had to go lie down. :conf:

On a different note... My favourite style of chicken is... baked, home-made, with honey on top :) Or in Italian pasta souce or in some Indian recipe.... yummy :)

It's not authentic paprikash if it isn't made with dumplings! :D
