Was surfing Youtube and came across his new track "Big Sky", and from there I kind of went dl-happy

I have to admit, his tunes bring a silly nostalgic grin to my face. It's like listening to trance, before the genre went in the hands of the Dutch.

I admit, I used to love Tiesto, but I started listening to ASOT did some research on the songs I liked, which lead me to John. :happy2:

I like most tracks he's produced since 2006.

his tracks are good. Good and thats really all for me. Nothing that will stay in my head or i'll tell my friends about.

i had a listen to his album released a while back. it sounded quite generic and there wasn't much difference between the tracks.

I like most of the producers on the discover label.
Ian
it wasn't a bad sound, it just seems a bit dated now imo, the discover sound has energy which is good, but when a lot seem too samey it should be time to change things up a bit.

I liked JOC when he burst onto the scene around 2004-2005 when he was making a lot more uplfiting and driving tracks. Now his sound has went way too techy for me and Big Sky is just a rip off of Holidng onto Nothing imo. It does it for a mainstream crowd but JOC is talented enough to something a bit better i feel.

The last great track he did imo was Mannix - Mercury
