you might be getting confused between digital and 'digital trance'. digital trance is the latest one but digital came out before last xmas (b4 experience). hope that helps

This album is pretty good. It does have a good deal of unreleased tracks, and thats what I think makes a good compilation. Otherwise, if they used the tunes we already have, it would be as if a TA member took all of his favorite tracks and mixed them :p

Scott Bond hasn't done the actual mixing, that's done on a computer, but he has chosen the tracks for the CDs.

Why don't they get Bond or another good dj to mix them then ?

Yea thats wat i am wondering to?? like the Euphoria CDs are always mixed (ok sometimes by Dave Pearce which can be crap), but surely Gatecrasher could get a big name?? would boast sales im sure:)

There's nothing wrong with Dave Pearce's djing skills, the only thing is he plays commercial cheese :eyes:

This compilation is pretty good. The first CD is more my style trancier and a bit more melodic, the 2nd one is way more hardcore sort of in the style of Scot project or harder german trance. In my opinion disc 1 does it for me.

I would hardly call pressing the stop/off button so the record slows to a miserable halt a 'dj skill'. Which is exactly what 'dangerous dave' did at the dome for the massive new years event- appaling

Well i've seen him live in the Escape (Swansea) and he was pretty hot...

does anyone know what kind of computer program was used i.e. pro tools, virtual turntables, etc. i don't know just curious i thought the mixing was pretty good. by the way the best songs on the albumn are (in no order):

Jamnesia - She's My Friend
The Basstarts - Atacama
John Askew - Vellum
Rob Aker - Dad's Home
Mo'Hawk - Atlantic Stress

p.s. anyone know any other songs of this quality that maybe should have, but didn't make it on to the cd? I love this sound...suggestions?

Try looking at all of Marco V's stuff, it's the same sort of sound.
