Samim's artist album: Flow

Of course everyone has been either praising or bitching about "Heater" all Summer long, but the full length album from Samim out on Get Physical has really caught my ear the past few days. "Blackdeath," "Springbreak," "Forcefeedback," and "Zleep" are all tunes I think I'll be toying with for a while, and in general the kind of techy quality you'd have expected (pre-"Heater" :p) is very prominent on this one.

Recommend giving it a shot, won't be for everyone, but some of the folks here should be down. :)

Listened to the samples off beatport and really enjoyed Blackdeath, Ukaka, Zleep, Forcedfeedback. Overall it does look solid except for The Lick... weird song :conf:
Allied Nations
apparently heater was one of beatports biggest tunes ever... thousands upon thousands of downloads per day!

will be interested in hearing this, i think he has huge potential.

"heater" and that other tune that sounds like heater part 2 with a merengues sample in it, are the only misfires. I still give good ol samim a chance and will wait for the CD in the post.

same. Haven't heard any of it, but one gimmicky track isn't enough to make me jump ship.
LoveHate
they all sound the same.

From the samples i mostly liked Forcedfeedback, but it's not exactly my kind of stuff. The Intro track sounds pretty good too.

Anything with Heater automatically fails. A ty fad, and nothing more.
