before i was using :HP win xp home edition PC, 1.9Ghz, 512 Ram...
Everythig was ok regarding Sound/Midi
recently i upgraded the motherboard/CPU combo:
MotherBoard: Foxconn WinFast 6150BK8MC (nvidia drivers, AMD commercial Stable Image platform)
with AMD 939 socket 2.01GHZ X2 3800+ DualCore CPU.
Installed WinXP Pro Sp2.
And this is how it sounds when i playback the project using VSTi and external workstations:
(when i'm using VSTis only it ok except about every minute there's a buzz/stutter in audio)
I tried different Latencies and settings, no luck...
And yes, i disabled the onboard Sound in BIOS, and using Emu 1212m Audiocard, which was working fine on previous HP PC.
Example.mp3
Please Help.
Thanks in advance. |

| Did you install the same drivers for the sound card that were working in the other PC? |

Well, seeing as how you are using a dedicated sound card as opposed to the onboard sound, I would say that the issue is not with the motherboard. Unless that motherboard has a ty FSB that is causing problems with that card. Try googling your card + the motherboard's name and model to see if any known issues exist. |
