i assume that since the batter wasnt really that hurt by the pitch, it was all in fun, and he was faking like he was going to attack the pitcher. after all the other teammates saw that, they joined in.

Objective of the game is to knock your opponent off balance by hitting the raise part of the leg against the opponent's leg.

Sorta. Koreans have their own version called Tang Soo Do which I believe Chuck Norris took so it must kick ass, right?
Also there's tae kwon do (the kicking one), hapkido (aikido in Japanese) and few other lesser known martial arts. (like you gotta go to middle of butt, nowhere mountain to learn)
