ok so u all know i dislike trance...greatly.
but i must say, this night is going down in MTL's EDM history books...
nick provided the crowd with a high-intensity, high-energy set and the crowd loved every second of it! in the midst of the crowd shouting out PI-LON, PI-LON...i'm told that his dad is front row and center rocking away for his son! now that made made my night...it was soooooo adorable to see him dancing away and giving his son high 5s hehehe! congrats nick, i'm happy for you!
this was probably the best production i have ever seen be put on...Prodkt, u fkn nailed it...the lights, the 2 stages, the lasersssss, everything about that set-up was completely off the hook. and of course, how can i forget the hundreds of digital cameras and cellphones lifted into the air...all to catch a glimpse of Paul starting his set...
u know what? something i truly admire about trance music is how much energy and dedication trance fans can muster up from within themselves... just gets so damn intense and everyone is really feeding off each other...kinda like house but to the 10 millionth degree :p
anyways, paul started off playing house, just...pitched up waaaaaaaaaay too fast...that lasted 10 minutes and then the real trance came on...everyone went nuts in the best way possible...and i ran away :( i toughed it out for about another hour then i had to leave for stereo...from what i heard and saw tho: tight mixing, insane amounts of energy coming from everywhere, pure trance music and finally, PVD dancing away to himself...the crowd LOVED it :)
congrats prodkt, u've done it once again :) |
