Playmobil Toys (pg. 2)

I always had a blast playing with them, but I didn't build neat little dioramas in a corner of my room. I took those ******s outside and made real construction sites in the mud. I mostly just had the trucks and construction vehicles, and this cool jeep with different sets of tires.

They were expensive as though, I only ever saw large quantities of them at rich kid's houses.

Legos ftw >>

yeah i never saw them as direct lego competition, the were kinda fun. but only cause i only got to play with them at houses where the parents had too much money and not enough common sense.

legos arent even in the same echelon, seriously.

spaceships and ...playmobil had quickie marts and crap.

OOH lets play going to the grocery store!!

I liked Playmobil up until I was maybe 4 or 5...I had this airport set that was pretty sweet. But I always enjoyed Legos a lot more. Much easier to get lodged in my throat or nose.

We had some "Playmo" or "Pläjmo" as we called it (same pronunciation) and a friend had more. I never really liked it and prefered lego. Although whenever we went to that friend we always played with Playmo, cowboy & indians only, nothing else (no one was ever indian, sry native american :p).

But as I said I prefered lego way more.

You make a very good point. Let me rephrase it then, Playmobil was for the rich kids whose parents preferred to buy them creativity than to have them think for themselves :p

So having grown up with Legos means I was poor? :conf: :( all, I KNEW mom and dad weren't telling me the whole truth. This could have dire negative consequences once I start drinking.

There's a guy in the PDD who's convinced you don't need the ability to think if you have money. I you not... he's been arguing with an engineer over the structural failure of the WTC buildings and citing his annual income as his credentials.

'A fool and his money are soon parted'
Course the PDD is riddled with the kind of people of late who are dangerously deluded or have no damn idea about much of anything, I've written it off as being not worth the time.
Which is a pity. :(

edit:
I never had lego or playmobil things, my cousins did but I was more at the age I wasn't interested in playing with them. Cabbage patch dolls though where the most adored toy when I was very little.
