We need a thread to bitch about the Giants / Jets this season. But first how about the NFL's latest fine on the Patriots. WOW that's some serious ....Commissioner Roger Goodell isn't ing around anymore.

pats only have to pay 250k, belichick has to pay more. what's more damaging is the potential loss of a round 1 pick. |

| i cant believe what is goin on lately..this video shyt with the Pats & refs betting on the game..not only is the gov't corrupt but now sports are getting there too..what the is going on with America..i want out! haha |

Do you really think that suspening him for two games is worse that taking draft picks away from them??? He would be sitting at home on the phone with McDaniels calling the plays anyways. $500,000 don't sound like much for a team but that will put a nice dent in Bellichick's pocket....plus it's the heaviest fine possible. I think they got hit where it hurts with the draft picks. |

cheating was probably worse back in the day. There are tons of examples of cheating in the past. Remember a guy named 'shoe -less' joe. |

agreed...but i don't think 500k will dent belichick's pocket. if it would i'm sure the pats would get that $$$ back to bill. |

I'm just saying.....compared to the Pats fine of $250,000....it's much bigger for one person. There is no doubt in my mind that he didn't shake it off without kicking himself in the ass for it.....500 grand is 500 grand. |

They should have suspended him in addition to what he already received.
If not, Goodell should have taken more draft picks from the Pats. |
