What, get an entire palm to it yet still fail to steer it way from goal? Yes, the keeper clearly did fantastic.
I bet you thought Rio Ferdinand's goal was 'gold' as well? |
What I meant was the goalie damn well tried by getting a tap in on the ball. Many don't even touch the ball. |

| Yeah well he tried pretty ing terrible then...as Mikey said, he had his whole hand touching the ball and still he went "Nah, those scots are so darned friendly, i'll let 'em have this one!". |

Scottish national team should wear a kilt on the pitch.
Defending a freekick should be consist of the wall mooning the opposition |

| Where does most of the French national team play? Do they play in the EPL or in Ligue 1 (I think that's a French league)? |

right now the squad has a mixture. A few are in Ligue 1 but it's a weak league compared to spain, italy and england where most players are.
1 GK Mickaël Landreau Paris SG
2 DF Jean-Alain Boumsong Juventus
3 DF Éric Abidal Barcelona
4 MF Patrick Vieira Inter Milan
5 DF William Gallas Arsenal
6 MF Claude Makélélé Chelsea
7 MF Florent Malouda Chelsea
8 MF Jérémy Toulalan Lyon
9 FW Karim Benzema Lyon
10 FW Sidney Govou Lyon
11 MF Samir Nasri Marseille
12 FW Thierry Henry Barcelona
13 DF François Clerc Lyon
14 DF Philippe Mexès Roma
15 DF Lilian Thuram Barcelona
16 GK Sebastien Frey Fiorentina
17 DF Julien Escudé Sevilla
18 MF Alou Diarra Bordeaux
19 DF Bacary Sagna Arsenal
20 FW David Trezeguet Juventus
21 MF Lassana Diarra Arsenal
22 FW Franck Ribéry Bayern Munich
23 GK Ulrich Ramé Bordeaux
39 FW Nicolas Anelka Bolton Wanderers
so 1 in germany, the rest as I said :p |

That's what I thought. Ligue 1 is painfully boring to watch and Liverpool destroyed Toulouse 4-0 in the Champions League so I just figured most French players are awful :p |

| soccer sucks. Anyone who doesn't have the ball is usually walking, and anyone who has the ball is planning their next dive + sob story to the ref. I watch the Chivas Guadalajara games, but it's insanely ridiculous how people piss and moan about getting a scratch on their forehead or a headbutt in the chest. |

| Lyon have won the league for years now, and are a good european side, but they still lack a cutting edge to go higher still. Other traditionally big french sides have lost out as players moved to england & italy & other places, such as Paris SG, Toulouse, St Ettienne, Monaco, Marseille etc, and now a lot of the higher up french sides are ones which 20 years ago weren't doing very well, and they have lots of French-African players in their sides. |

Stop watching MLS and Super Liga, it's ing disgraceful. Watch the EPL or virtually any other league from Europe and it's way WAY better. |

| really, if he wants a more physical game, the english is a good place to start, but for flair la liga is great. Then there's italy which is a mix of barbaric and sometimes genius |
