i parked on the far east side of the guvernment. If you keep driving along Queens Quay pass the the complex there is a little $10 flat rate parking to your left hand side behind a building. I dont care about my wallet, although my credit cards were used heavily within hours of them being stolen around gas stations, dominions, rabbas, 7/11's and conveniance stores downtown. Thank god it was not mid day or there would be plasma screens on that list. Im alot more upset about the clothing that was stolen. One of my friends had an expensive leather jacket, another friend had an irreplacable sweater from Amsterdam, and my brand new sweater given to me by my g/f which i only worn once. Most of all im really sad that they took my cd binder. There was over 40+ irreplacable cd's collected over so many years just gone!!! i feel like crying. I put my wallet in the glove compartment and stashed the jackets on the back seat. I guess i should have hid them better. I just dont understand how these bastards could take something so sentimental to me. Take my cash, use my credit cards, rob me but have ing heart.
Aside from that i had a blast and will not let this unfortunate incident take anything away from the night. I would like to say whadup to exstasie and summercallin. Great meeting you guys. Shaya good chatting to you and hope those pics are up soon. The main room was INSANE last night. MO is really good at what he does and as for the gallery just WOW. Austin Leeds tore it up, dark, dirty, hard, filthy beats. i loved it.

| I'm so sorry dude, I had my car deck stolen from me once when I went to Guv. My fault ... I parked it the LCBO. Never park there! |

oh man. That completely sucks! I probably would be crying as well.
I've only heard of ppl getting their stuff stolen in LCBO parking lot and other random non-paid parking lots. I usually just end up paying at Lowblaws parking lot these days as I feel that is the safest bet.
You called your CC company right to get all those charges taking off your account right?
Maybe if you filed a report or something they could maybe find the plate numbers when they used the gas station or something like that (doubt it but you never know). But yeah, i don't understand how someone could do something like that. Damn people!
Otherwise it was a great meeting you guys as well (AboveN'Beyond & seeing Jeff again)! Stayed in the Gallery the entire night! Went for a litle nap on the couch for a bit and waited for AA to show up. He played a normal set like usual (normal = awesome). Too bad I missed him this morning at the Zone but i'm sure he tore the roof off.
Austin Leeds started off a little slow for the first 20 minutes but after he dropped Chemical Brothers - Do It Again his set was unreal!! He dropped so many awesome tracks!
Anyone know what remix of Scream he played? Love that song but haven't heard the remix he played...quite awesome.
Oh yeah, anyone else see when Austin Leeds took a spill and wiped out right beside the VIP booth about 30 minutes before he ended his set. I guess he had to go to the washroom or go somewhere, but when he came back he totalled wiped and almost pulled me down with him haha. His back and legs were soaked with crap lol. Poor guy, but he was fine!

OH MY GOD! WTF I was the one who requested that song! I typed it on my cell fone he looked at the screen, than smiled and proceeded to search through his binder to play it. I should never have left the gallery. Damn im so MAD :mad: :whip: |

Damn, Im really gonna miss that jacket....
All I can say is you learn from your mistakes, I will never again park in shady parking lots, from now on I am parking in well lit, safer spots. What a bummer after such a good night. |

No parking lot attendant, we parked in a lot where you have to buy a ticket from a machine.
Never doing that again....at least not at night

Its really just so sad because last night was one of my best nights ever at Guvernment, such good vibes, good friends, good tunes. To come back to your car and realize EVERYTHING is gone, its just depressing.
......at least they didnt find my weed....hahaha suckers |

know the feelin'..this has happened to me not around the Guv parking lot but in my own indoor Garage a few years back; they didn't take the car, or the pioneer elite stero deck, instead they opted out for my collection of more than 600 Original CDs...;that was the day I stopped buying originals..lol!
