I walked into the temple around 1:00AM, mingled with a few familiar faces, and eased nicely into Chloe's set. Liked it alot, some tasty beats. I had been anticipating Digweed's set all week long and from the moment he took the helm, it was absolute heaven as he took complete control with razor sharp mixes and sick devilish beats. It was a mind-blowing experience that only Digweed could deliver.

I had an amazing time, always a pleasure seeing all the TAs. Stereohead, Maher, Jesteraver, DJ Eterno, Allied Nations, Stefano & Sylvie, DarV, John and everyone else.

See you at Howells! :)

I was about to pass out last night when I said "F*** It", and headed down to Stereo. The fact that there was no lineup prepared me for what was to come. The place was not empty, but not full. The great part being that the people who showed were beautiful, full of energy, not to sketch, and all with smiles on their faces.

As a bonus I received a free tickets to see Howells on Friday. Hmmmm...sort of reminds me of the last gig Diggers and Howells played at Aria (DH was sooo trashed, lol). It was nice seeing familiar face "Mike Wally" behind the bar, he's always in a party mood. The staff was super friendly, and as I said before...the vibe was really good.

I think it was worth the effort. The next step is to leave work now, and sleep a little. I missed the powernap part.

For the music, it was really good. Diggers was busting out some quirky tracks, never boring.

Digweed was dropping some bombs that night :) Nice tech sounds! Great night.

1) The ticket was not a free ticket. It's a new promo ticket where you pay $20 at the door to get in

2) The video was not posted properly, so here it is.

Did he drop Pryda - Muryani? If so, how did that sound on that system?

(obvious question, I know)

review:

got there at about 3:30, he already had started....

Basically i knew it was going to be musical heaven so my expectations were high, and i didnt get let down whatsoever...

from start to finish he was everything and more, probably the best mixer ever, i only noticed about a handful of times he was actually mixing into a song....

first hour was slow, perfect beats to get you in the mood, then at about 1.15 hr into his set he picked it up and started destroying the place (there was a song at about 1.30hr into his set that was mind blowing, had this crazy electro background noise with trippy ass sounds, someone ID it please!!!, first real bomb he dropped. He was dark, excellent baselines to compliment Stereo, the man is a legend don't know what to say....whoever wasn't there, big big miss out!

one of the best sets I heard this year hands down, totally my type of music...good crowd, packed but had good room to dance

*Speechless*

Songs that i remembered he dropped:

Kevlar - The Mongoose
Chemical Brothers - Do It Again (Oliver Huntemann Remix)

i know i heard more i cant remember at the moment, ill edit if i do...

nice seeing Enigmatik , nice meeting Stereohead & Maher,

and DarV...(hahah just remembering every time Digweed would drop a bomb the faces we had!)
