for your budget look at soundcards from:
M-audio
Echosystems
Edirol
you need to be more specific about how you are using it:
PCI, USb or firewire?
How many ins and outs?
Midi?
Direct headphone out?
Portability? |

Maybe he could just put some weights on top of it?
Seriously though, what are you using it for? When you say "DJing" are you just recording a pair of line inputs from a mixer, or are you using ableton or something? When you say "producing" are you using all software, or is there some hardware or external instruments involved? |

when i say DJing i thought software type Traktor or Ableton with external mixer 2 channels and some console trigger finger etc.
when i say producing i thought software type cubase reason fruity loops and some keyboards, exactly m-audio axiom 61 and use internal instrument well VST and others plugins.
(sorry for my english  )
and thank you for answers :) |

Check out the Delta410. It has 8 channels out on RCA jacks, perfect for filling up a 4-stereo-source DJ mixer.
As far as the Axiom 61 goes, that is a USB device and is not a consideration for a soundcard. It plugs directly into a USB port and shows up as a MIDI device after the Axiom drivers have been installed. No hardware MIDI inferface is required. |
