I need some job advice.

I just started my first real full time job about a week and a half ago as an assistant product manager for ASUS, a large Taiwanese-based high tech firm that makes motherboards, notebooks, video cards, PCs, and other computer parts. The initial offer wasn't that impressive; 3000 dollars a month starting salary and no benefits until after the first 3 months of employment. I took the job because I had no other offer at the time. So far I can't say i dislike it or like it, it is a lot of boring, tedious work dealing with lots of Excel spreadsheets and numbers.
Yesterday I get a job offer from AT&T as a design engineer. The offer completely blows the ASUS offer away. Base salary is 55,000 dollars, plus full benefits/pension/insurance on the first day of the job, plus potential bonuses of up to 7000 dollars a year. 55,000 dollars a year is a lot for someone who just graduated from college three months ago and is still living with his parents.
The big dilemma is obviously whether I stay with ASUS or leave for AT&T. One half of me can't turn away the salary and benefits offered by AT&T, but on the other hand ASUS is still a rapidly growing company with huge potential, and my company has been hiring people like crazy.
Another issue is if I were to decide to leave, how am I going to go about telling my coworkers/boss after only one and a half weeks? they hired me over alot of people, and for me to all of a sudden bounce after two weeks would look extremely bad on my part. I don't know how I would face them. But the AT&T offer is simply too attractive for me to ignore. AND the fact that I dont even get any benefits until three months of employment. Three months from now I don't know if I'm going to be with the company.
So what should I do? |

I'd go into a long rant as to why I would make the choice, but it's 12:12AM, I'm tired, worked all day and still haven't had dinner yet, so my simple answer is:
AT&T |

Yeah, seriously.
worrying about your co-workers/boss. You got a better offer. ASUS is a very large company, they will somehow (:p) manage without you.
Do this for you. It's your career.
You just got head-hunted. GO! |

| If the AT&T offer is a sure thing, and you don't find the work you'd be doing utterly distasteful, definitely take the position that offers the better incentive. Although I do understand where you are coming from, I think you'd be a fool not to take the job that is offering you more. |

You mentioned you're just out of college. How old are you? If you don't mind me asking. |

Nice guys may very well finish last, but that doesn't mean that s finish first.
Be neither of them.
Be the smart guy.
Do what is best for you.
The world would be a much better place if people did what was best for them more often. |

everything seems quite obvious, the money leans easily towards ATT...but the bonus thing makes me consider how much sales or *other* are required for the bonus.
bonus can also mean, if you dont get the bonus, your ass is out on the street. i still think its a better option, but consider carefully.
i dont make 3000 dollars a month, and if i did i could survive without ins...so im not the best person to ask.
(i make a lot less, but do have health insurance)| |

Then my advise is:
Be the nice guy to those who matter. Your friends, certain people in power (watch them like a hawk though), or who-ever. The company you might leave? Forget it.
Your boss would leave too, if he/she got a better offer. As would your co-workers. Nobody is going to hate you. Why would you stay in a job that gives you less?
Do this because it's better for your career. The higher your wage now, the higher your next job's wage will be. Unless you're . But, if you're getting head-hunted this quickly out of school? Probably (hopefully) you're not.
