I went to Frightfest a couple years ago at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo. Went with about 20 peeps. Thought it would be awesome heading to the park with such a huge group, but the problem was about 2/3's of them were two faced and "too cool" to ride any of the rides. All they did was watch shows, do the haunted house and bitch about everything. It got to the point where 5 of us just ditched them all and did our own thing. If it weren't for a bunch of stupid drama that night, it probably would have been fun. Wasn't all that scary at all.

Alright, being Australian, I have no idea what the hell Frightfest is. Can somebody give me a quick breakdown on wtf is being discussed here?

grew up 5 minutes from one in ohio, when it used to be called "geauga lake". for a few nights in the fall my friend and i would dress up as zombies and raise money for charity. you would develop your own costume and 'character concept' basically they would completely make up my face with scars and abberations, and color my skin and hands a dead flesh grey. it was insane. then for 4 hours i would lurch around the park

it was pretty boring for the most part until they decided that since I am 6'5" I should wear a huge monster frame on my shoulders with extendable arms, paint my face pitch black and cover it with gross yeti hair, strap 6" platforms to my feet and have me go around and terrorize people

it's weird to think that I actually did that at some point in my life.

GA is fine. I went last labor day. All you need is

1. Coke can for each 2 people(buy 1 get one free) I think gen admin is 60 :wtf:
2. 100$(food, games, toys, did I mention food), #1 & 3 as well
3. Speed pass for amount of people that will go on most roller coasters), split cost between these people and get it right when the both opens. We rode superman twice because there was no line when the park opened around 10 and we got to the speed pass area at 11-12 and we had to wait 30ish min to get it but then the day was not ruined waitning 3 hrs per ride after 12pm.
4. Some suntan lotion unless you like burns
5. Locker use if you want to keep you valubles safe
6. When you see King Da ka when you get there(Its not that bad)you'll see

and lastly
7. You leave that place wanting to come back
