yea this episode had its good moments, but was not very consistent, kinda disappointed, maybe if the episode didn't have as much hype about it, then it wouldnt have been that big of a let down.

Can confirm.
They have too many random asides that go for too long now.
When they were making Fonzie jokes etc it was great, but now all the asides are based on obscure, random sitcoms that no one has heard of, and hence the parodies are no longer funny.
Also the characters have changed too much. Stewie is some complete fag now, as opposed to trying to take over the world, which was always gold.
Also that pedophile Herbert character s me, he was funny for about one episode, but they keep re-using him over and over with the same gags. |

| I can't stand any episode with that perverted old man anymore. Whatever little humor he had was lost the first time he was introduced. The star wars ep had its moments, but other than that it was pretty meh. |

| Like any Family Guy episode it had extreme highs while being filled with extreme lows. The only funny bits were the Dr. Who and Airplane cameos, especially the one towards the end where C-3PO/Quagmire says, "And Leia's getting LAAAAAAAAAAAAARGER!" |

i watched. it was pretty funny considering i dont care to watch any FG anymore.
WHY HAVENT THEY CREATED ANY NEW CHARACTERS!!!?!
sure, they recycled some ty Mad TV chars, but seriously. the first three seasons were creative and gold as they created new characters. now the dirty old man is their main plot point. its f in stupid| |

Yeah, things like that where they poked fun at things in the original films were humorous. The unfortunate thing is, I think they could have done a lot more than that, and spanned 3 films. Too much time wasted simply telling the original story.
That said, the robot chicken star wars was much better. |
