It overheats a lot. Power supply is in shambles I guess.
Was due for an upgrade anyways. it last me 5 years.

| Is it a Dell? Certain models of Dell from about 4-5 years ago apparently have a problem with their fans, so they overheat a lot. Mine got so bad that it wouldn't even boot properly after a while, so I sent it in, thinking it would cost me a ton, and they fixed it for free because it was a documented problem for my model. |

| Mine too. DVD-Rom drive doesnt work. Screen flickers if not at the right angle, keyboard doesnt work except for "q" and the batter lasts about 20 minutes on full charge. |

anyhow i remember i got my laptop in 2003 with the "best buy" ensurance.
a couple of months before it was over, they gave me a new one. now i have this current laptop with a "ensurance" plan as well. so far i broke the screen and they fixed it for free. my plug wire also broke and it was replaced free. i need to go change the battery which is also free.
i like best buy :) |

No, this laptop is an Acer... Celerons suck.
Been eyeing this Toshiba laptop...
But then again, I'm no longer a computer geek so I barely know what to look for in a laptop |
