hey mark this usually works better when you tell us a specific song, what you were going for, what you think you want advise on etc... otherwise its just a self plug and thats not what this forum is for

Ahh... Well. The loudest silence track is something i just finished, Basicaly i always love feed back from people who are really into the music. Just thought people could listen to my 4 current tracks i have going and leave me feed back, instead of hosting more files and what not i figured i would let them check out my page. I always know there is going to people that love your music and hate your music, so im more out for the haters and finding out what they dont like about my tracks, as well as the people who luv it because its always nice to get that positive feed back, my style is more progressive in nature then trance right now, but im buddies with sean tyas and im trying to do a few tracks up his alley. so hopefully ill have one of those soong.. just recently sold my protools hd rig to grab the new logic 8 .

So if i should be following other rules and posting links to higher quality runs of my stuff let me know.

Thanks

Mark

yeah, most of what you said makes sense. the vocal is pretty old school sounding ::throws on cloths from '99:: same with the synth noises... maybe a bit bright in part. the key to a lot of todays dance music is automation and modulation, so take your hallow sounds and spice them up a bit

sidechain works well with vocals as always, would like to see a bit more variation in the percs(but i'm a house producer so could just be me).

overall track is produced fairly well, still kinda missing that hook and with no real change in the bassline the song gets redudant after a few minutes.

keep it up though :)

Thanks for the feed back... Protools is miserable for automation and midi... so i am fairly tied down. And being from new york i was always heavy on percussion altho changing my style up a bit i lost a little of that for more a mealody. My main influences are marco V and sander van doorn right now even tho that track doesnt hint that. My logic studio rig is on its way, then i can play alot more with automation and modulations.
