Yeah, I was there too (at TJ's). I was up on the patio relaxing with friends since the power was out around my whole block.
Noticed an extreme amount of people meandering the streets and crowded around the Barking Frog.
Kept watching as increased police force and bouncing staff kept coming over towards TJ's and disappearing inside. I kept mentioning this to my friends but they just assumed it was because everyone was out on the streets.
Then the waitress came over and said "OMG, do you guys watch The Hills???" The group of guys who were sitting at the table were myself (who doesn't have cable), engineering student, and actuarial science graduate student: we all gave her a blank stare.
"OMG OMG, Brody Jenner is coming over here, he was supposed to be at Barking Frog but the power is out, so he's coming here! OMG I can't wait"
So, the 3 of us had absolutely no idea who this guy was, so the girls at the table needed to brush us up on our history lesson of the extremely rich and ridiculous that we were 'sadly' unfamiliar with.
I was more upset because the waitress, in all her ecstatic glory of bringing us this 'fabulous' news for the evening, still managed to forget our drinks that we'd been waiting for.
A few minutes later we saw the flash of a thousand camera's coming from Barking Frog and Mr. Rich came swaggering over with his entourage down the street with, no exaggeration: about 200 screaming girls running after him.
I've never seen so many girls dressed to the nine's screaming and fawning over anyone before in my life. All these girls looked like they wanted their shot at fame and fortune so they were dressed like they were heading to the most posh nightclub in Miami or LA, yet they were all in a Tap and Grill, quite a funny contrast.
Needless to say, we stayed up on the patio where it was nice and quiet.
As we were leaving, we of course had to go downstairs to get out the front door, and it was absolutely ridiculous in there. Noise level was the loudest I've ever heard it and the ratio of girls to guys had to be 50-1. Also noticed they were charging cover (I think it was $20) at the door as we were leaving.
Quite a sight that's for sure. :rolleyes: |

| lol you should have seen what it was like at jim bobs... yes i went to jim bos.hahah the dance floor was packed then all of a sudden it cleared. girls dressed in swavy dresses dancing on tables just so they could get a look at him. like seriously... its The Hills. but i guess every western girl watches that show so i dont blame them |

I ran into Paris Hilton in Miami during WMC and there was less of a commotion. Last night was just weird. |
