This is crazy. I got less than 3 days. Never the less I am excited.
Im giving a new sound a shot this weekend, and you will not hear me exceed 132 BPM.
Its definitely something different...
Local Djs, im still gathering tracks over the next days before Friday. If you have a track you would like me to hear, send it over to me and I just might play it during my opening set for Above & Beyond. I love Local sound. please send them to me in 320 format if possible. If its under 320, dont worry send it to me, and Ill clean it up.

I've heard Blurr play pretty energetic, but after reading that he'll be sub-132 BPM makes me intrigued.

Thanks everyone!
I been researching heavily over the last 2 months, gearin up for this event.
I still have lots of tracks to go through, and have been sampling more that have come through the mail this week. Was up until 4AM to give the system a test run again. I started feeling dizzy around 4ish, so I went to bed.
This IS a big night for me, and I want to make sure I give Above & Beyond a proper entry. I've never missed a show when they come out to town.
Teknotexan, ill be playing from 11-1. If people arrive early enough, perhaps Ill be able to open the room a bit earlier.
The challenges Im facing with this set is a few to no trance tracks will be played. few meaning a max of (2) trance tracks if any, no epic trance like your acustom to hearing from me, and they wont be anthems.
y2yen, I might have it, and I got your txt message last night.
The myspace invitation I sent out for this event was only to notify people about the event, show the video and notification of presales. I carry no guestlist for this Friday. Sorry guys, 1015 did not give me one this time around. |
