Why them in particular?

I've been all wtfbbq over their music lately, that's why they were the first thing that came to my mind when I saw how long the track was :p
Then I just tried to picture what it would be like if this track was directly inspired by GYBE. No impressive reason, as you can tell

It was one of those moments when I just wanted to speak rubbish that would only make sense to me.

This has an old school sound to it. Very trippy kinda like Quivver/Space Maneuver tracks. Love it.

You can fit up to 30 minutes on a record I believe, I vaguely remember hearing about a release which did just that.

For optimum sound quality, there's a 15 minute limit per side of vinyl.

As for 'Gridlock', there are two other versions aside from the 25 minute one, and the single itself will be released on Renaissance, and NOT Bedrock as someone stated.

I think I may burn it to cd and try to layer other tracks on top of it.

nah just set it going, go off and drop a dookie, grab a drink, root a chick in the toilets, put more money in the parking meter for your car, hide from the promoter when he's wondering why you're not playing, root a chick in the toilet, grab a drink, and then go back and mix out.

Either that or the worlds longest dj pose

Armin van Buuren could do "spirit fingers" for this whole track I reckon.

1. Point arms straight out, shoulder width apart, at eye level, with fingers extended.

2. Smile like a goof.

3. Waggle your fingers in time to arpeggios, or other suitable track element.

4. Repeat.
