No JC's right. They do limit how many people they let up there. I kept in touch with Sarah asking her if there is still room before I came out. When I got there around 3 they said they were at 200.
The last time I was there, I was there for a girl's birthday party. Scumfrog was the headliner DJ for Traffic Events. There was an African American doorwoman that was bring a witch! She would just tell everyone come back in half and hour...come back in an hour...
But she would let her own people in (sounds pretty "Hollywood" to me). She even told the birthday girl who was staying there, "Happy Birthday" but staying there was not a guarantee to get in since there was a "special event"
I pulled some 007 tricks to get in that day. But there were many unhappy people pending at the bottom. By the time they did let everyone downstairs in, the event was finished.
Thank you to JC and Giant for not blowing it up and making it a Circus! It makes it much nicer when only a selected few know about special events like this one!
Even though I didn't leave with the jacket I came with due to some chick being on who knows what! :whip:
I had a blast! It was more of a sentimental thing since it was one of the only things I bought in Amsterdam. Except other things like Sour Diesel, NYC Diesel, Cheese and some other funky names they call their tobacco. |

A ninja's gotta do what a ninja's gotta do. Sometimes, we have a catch 22 situation when we have a solid dj like Lee in a relatively small spot like the standard with a limited capacity of 250. People just assume its gonna be a bitch to get in so they don't bother showing up. I thought it was perfect as I knew 80% of the people up there and got a chance to actually relax with my close friends. :toocool: :toocool: |
