Are lust and attraction considered the same thing for the purposes of this thread?
I find many women physically attractive.
There have been only a small handful of women I have found emotionally/physically attractive, however. And that, for me, makes a huge difference. |
i think finding someone attractive and actually being attracted to them can be 2 different things. there's lots of people who i find attractive but it doesn't necessarily mean i'm attracted to them.
i love you... but i'm not in love with you. :gsmile: |

Really, this thread needs to clarify itself.
jennypie, as I understood it, originally was saying: she's attracted to some dude physically, but not emotionally.
We need to define "attraction". There is two types I think we need to consider: physical and emotional/intellectual.
Physical attraction is, usually, everywhere all the time for most people. It's the emotional one that is harder to find. And for a relationship, most people need both...
I think the thread title is a bit misleading. It makes it seem like the OP is talking only about physical attraction, but in her actual post she implies both types of attraction and the need for them both in order for her to honestly consider ing a given person.
Or I could be totally wrong?... I don't even know. I guess even I can be physically attracted to someone and still not want to them purely from a lust perspective.
it. No one even listen to me. I'm neurotic and partially insane. |

Yeah dude, you're way off.
I'm talking about the most base, animal, "natural instinct" sort of attraction.
You can find people attractive and not actually be attractED to them.
For me, there's been very few people who I've truly been attracted to. Even beyond the most base, animal, "natural instinct" way. |

| I've only ever been really attracted to a handful of girls my whole life. But I see attractive girls all the time. But for me looks are just the tip of the iceberg. |
