Did anyone just see this awesome documentary on BBC4?
It's such an amazing look at Factory Records, it was pretty much a documentary version of 24 Hour Party People.
If you never saw it try and download it from somewhere. It was superb.
And please don't move this to the UK section, although Factory was based in Manchester, the music that this documentary focused on reached the world, and there are parts that show how Joy Division tried to break the US market.

I'm only just really getting into Joy Division now...a little late, I know. But I'm glad there's still such an interest in this band. And that type of music in general.
I wonder if so much interest is paid to Joy Division because of the tragic ending? |
