My college is helping me find these jobs. I'm going to many different places (some to ask if anything is available, others to ask on the status). I'm not partial to any position, so I can't really say. |

I'm just asking, 'cuz it's a bit different if you want to be the manager @ some business tech place, vs. a floor person @ home depot. |

I really don't think it's so bad. I mean as a life goal, yeah it's aiming kinda low. But if the goal is just to gain experience in customer service then I think it's great.
Customer service translates to so many other jobs. Two very important things you learn are team work and communication skills. You can take that knowledge to just about any job.
I'm very grateful for all the retail experience I have. Surprisingly, they look for this in the nursing field. Actually no, it isn't that surprising at all. :p |

ya my first job was a at a restaurant... perhaps the worst ever.
when they moved me to the bar, it was better, but it was still a ing restaurant :o..... i would much rather work in retail than in a restaurant ever again:whip: |

| I guess. I never did retail really, so I don't know much. If retail includes all the jackasses who always seem to grumpy then I'd rather not get into it. |
