Now that is called a live show! My ears are still ringing from last night. That huge screen they put the visuals on was amazing, and and music was excellent as well. I wouldn't have known about the show either if it wasn't for me being there myspace friend and them making a bulletin announcing all the upcoming US dates. |
yea the high end was cranked just a tad =).... it was probably easier to stand in the front than where i was in the back where the speakers were converging... it was deafening back there.
yea they looked like they were playing. at one point Tom played the recorder live. i think. |

Now I'm really, really pissed about the lack of promotion for this show.

It looked that way for Underworld and Daft Punk too, but they both do relatively little (the guy who isn't Rick in Underworld just slides faders up and down the whole show - and I'm still not sure what, if anything, Darren Emerson did while he was in UW :p) |
Well to me it looked like they were playing live, for example when Tom started playing the recorder live, that or their really good actors. |

I went for Ladytron, and I thought they were great. Too bad they didn't stay on a bit longer.
Couldn't have asked for more from the Chemical Bros though. We all thought that the show was worth every cent. |

| Good seeing you last night Garrit. Great show but I forgot just how damn hot it gets in that place. |

| I loved the show. Between Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers, I now believe that all you need for a killer live act is an 808 and a gigantic light show. |

| Nothing will top seeing them at the Zen Festival in 2000 for me... seen them 3 times since then...once a dj set and nothing has touched that magical night... (for many various reasons). I despise the Riv and I'm not 18 anymore ... I can't stand the ridiculous heat of that place. Glad you all had a great time at the show...:) |
