Awesome!

My son is going to do his homework in a cave by writing hieroglyphics on the wall!

I will implant a computing chip in my son's brain to do math. He will be smarter than your kids. Oh yeah.

Whatever. My son will only think in terms of 1s and 0s. :o

analog thinking > digital thinking.

Digitized thinking = quantization of analog signals = loss of data = BRAIN DAMAGE :o

Doesn't the analog sygnals from your body get converted to digital anyway because of the way things work depends on what neural pathways it goes down therefore it either goes down a pathway or it doesn't.

Calculator is kind of redundant really, people should have a fairly good grasp of these things without having to resort to the calculator, it's just ludicrous.
Should make it more relistic with the addition of the credit card, then watch as the games decays into a never ending debt with 25% interest :p

It's kind of worrying for me to see people so reliant on mechanical memory and basic numeracy skills.
Sort of why when I once said, I don't really use the majority of functions in a mobile phone, not even the phone book in it.
"Why, you some kind of moron?"
"No, I just remember them after dialling them a couple of times"
"That's Bull"

People bagged me out for remembering phone numbers? I mean, when I was growing up and that's not so long ago, there wasn't a lot of mobile phones, PDA's didn't exist and laptops where well out of the range of most people.
So, I remembered them!
It's just how you dialled phone numbers, by either remembering them or writing them down! It's really not that damn hard!

I sort of agree.

I can still remember the phone numbers for my 5 closest friends' PARENTS. Just from high school, and dialing the numbers. High school was 10 years ago! :wtf:
