yep - a domesticated nigga lol...
ok seriously, so like most manhattanites, city dwellers, single habitants - where does one look at furniture?
Ok so for now let's throw budget out of the equation, the single most difficult thing for any one renting, buying, or living in manhattan is to find furniture that fits their apartment. Yep...it's that time!
So I've been living on my own for say 5+ years or so and I've had the same couch which was a hand me down from my parents. It fits, my apartment is set up in such a way that makes living easy (for a studio) to have guest over.
Does anyone know of places that displays furniture for those irregular apartment sizes?
I'm looking specifically for a sofa (love or 3 person seat) made of micro-fiber suede w/ full length ottoman to replace my coffee table. Think I'm fully doing away with the coffee table mentality and going ottoman + table tray
I'm sure someone has done such research before...help please!!! |

bah im sick of ikea stuff, granted their designs are nice but their quality is way subpar. i like some of their stuff, it's practical and affordable, but for larger pieces where I'm gonna be sitting on or relaxing on it i don't want no cheap piece of material, think i'm old enough and work hard enough to purchase nice things for my apt.
i was told to check out these places, if anyone has been and/or purchased from them, please share ur experiences.

Go to Chinatown. Was able to negotiate down my 2 seat leather couch down to a very reasonable price. The lady at the furniture place was cool as too. |
