a very well made and detailed piece you have made.
personally i hate the majority of minimal/experimental rubbish that dominates a lot of the edm field. i imagine this working well on the dancefloor. the groove is great and the attention to your bass is nice. deep and warm. -- maybe vary the kick a little (ie. use a very deep low kick every now and then, in no particular order, but so it varies the kick. this will add that extra depth imo)
i like the string synth but would like to hear it used more sparingly.
overall this is a keeper for me.

god swamper is annoying with this DJ vote thing. anyways:
PJ,
this track is very well done. percs sound big and bright which is always a good sign of proper compression and sheen. i love the fx that pan everywhere and really enjoy the chorus/flanged lead line
the synth/sax line at 3min, reversed, not reversed, swept, vibrato, it all freakin works awesome. be cool if ever few measures you put like a BIG REVERB on it, then got back into the minimal bit, short attack and release, etc.
anyways mate, this will get picked up for sure. gw.
Anthony
p.s. i got a new minimal bit too, check it out:

I'm totally zoning out to this song. Great production, sounds crisp and clean.
I love the lead. Sounds very Middle Eastern. |
