Is there a website or a thread about that. I just got my hands on a very large amount of vinyls from this local house DJ from Washington DC. I am not planning to sell them. I would like to know, if any of them worth a lot of money.

Sorry if this is a bit too obvious.. But check discogs.. Has a lot of info on how many have them, how many has been pressed, what price they're sold for etc..

Here's a good example:

Edit: There is a thread similar to this, couldn't find it tho :(

depends on how many of each record were pressed and if there were any re-presses

i don't even want to try figuring out what my record collection is worth

FYI - records from the UK are generally worth the least. People in the states buy them a lot because they're an "import" and think they're worth more. But UK records are pressed in the greatest quantities, so they have little resale value. Discogs will confirm this.

My Gouryella vinyl from Tsunami isn't worth all that much anymore since the repress, but not Yahel - Voyage (including magical remake) is still worth lots of money as well as my unknown Airscape mix / Southside Spinner mix (Vengaboys-Kiss) is worth a lot!!!!1
