Clubs in N.Ireland?

| Looks like I'll be spending a few months in NI and I'm wondering what clubs are there, aside from Lush in Portrush? Looking for Belfast info if possible, but all is welcome. If u have website links too, a bonus. THanks everyone! |

Lush is the best club in Nothern Ireland (If not Ireland)..
In Belfast.. you have, Stiff Kitten ( http://www.thestiffkitten.com/ ).. very electro.. housey and technoish, great sound system.. its small enough but that makes for a good atmosphere.. in the last month or so ive been to see D. Ramirez, Paul Woolford and a few others..
Or theres Shine ( http://www.shine.net/ ) much bigger club but similar in its music taste as stiff kitten (Owned and run by the same guy) itsbased in the Students union facing Queens Uni, always a great night and usually have a good line up, although its only on once a month now.. the last time i was there, Fergie and UMEK where playing.. this month Green Velvet is playing
Or if your looking trance.. The Elephant Rooms usually has some sort of decent Trance DJ, although i wouldn't go near the place, full of 16/17 year old spides (Or chavs or Neds.. depending on where your from..)
Then theirs The Coach, in Banbridge, usually has harder trance/hard house DJs playing.. Scot Project, Lisa Lashes.. etc.. although it would have quite alot of spides also, maybe not to the extent that you would get in the 'E rooms'
The Matrix, (think its in Dungannon) never been, but ive heard bad reports so i'd steer clear..
Thats all i can think of, off the top of my head.. but if anything else pops into my head..

Oh, and if you're here untill Christmas.. then Planet Love usually hold a night in the Kings Hall.. (think it usually has about 10,000 people go to it) with usually 2 or 3 good DJs and a few decent ones..
Think Armin Van Buuren and Judge Jules have already been confirmed.. |

Stiff Kitten - gay ass techno
Concept @ Mollys Omagh - trance , electro, house, hardstyle, hard dance, progressive
Nerve center - house, electro funky stuff
Bar Zu - as above
Buddha - as above
Mint - as above
E-rooms - trance & harder stuff, resident = Gleave Dobbin, closing soon though. |

| Went to see Roger Sanchez in The Pothouse a few weeks back.. but im not sure what its like any other saturday.. too many stuck up gits floating about.. |

Eddie & Judith pulled out of it in 05 to work harder on PL.
It closed soon after, think some dude got a belt of a car & died outside it around then too, which didn't help. |

indeed. the arena (the met) was the best of the bunch. still disgusted they shut it down. :( |

NATION in bangor is only 12 miles from belfast, and we do a fair bit of tech trance
KRZYSZTOF CHOCHLOW makes his UK debut at NATION on the 24th November, and we have other big nights waiting to be announced
