So generic it's not even funny.

About as good as I expected to hear from him.

Heh. I actually wrote this in my review of In Between:

"A few tracks, such as the Guiseppe Ottaviani collaboration La Dolce Vita, attempt to recapture the simple yet effective charms of vintage mainstream trance, but the end results sound like bad copies of something 4 Strings would have written six years ago."

And people wonder why trance is in the state it's in.

"My car is slow, breaks down every few days, can't handle bumps, and gets awful gas mileage, but it's a great vehicle!"

"This pasta is really bland and unsatisfying, but it's a great meal!"

I guess I don't get it.

Its a funny one but I can actually see where the poster is coming from. Its the style of trance that I usualy hate - hands in the air trance that you cant hum, so its just a bit wishy washy. However, for some reason I think this one sounds nice - it does reach the euphoria that it is supposed to without giving a memorable/original top line.
Ive also thourghly enjoyed it when I've herd it out

pvd teaming up with half of Nu Nrg? this should be one of the greatest uplifting trance songs in history, right?

after listening to the sample i'm pretty disappointed. thats a nice enough melody, but nothing special.

edit: I do like that 'Far Away' with PVD on Guiseppe Ottaviani's myspace though
