Christianity, 9-11, the federal reserve, war, our loss of liberty...this covers everything. It's just an incredible piece of work...I don't know how else to describe it.

I watched that a few months ago. As with most everything else in this world, it does contain a few factual errors so you can't take it at 100% face value. It also contains a wealth of good information, though - so I'm not discounting it, either. |

It is interesting to note that wikipedia does not have an article on this movie. The article was deleted !!! I wonder why.

It is not just that wikipedia’s rules (ironically) value online resources less than mainstream ones. What it is, is that this article was deliberately censored because of its “Christian Mythology” defiant contents and its critique of the interconnections between religion finance and greed-based politics.
You can find articles about almost any school, high school and small dust-filled village in the middle of nowhere in wikipedia. You can even find an article on “Fart”, but apparently “Zeitgeist the Movie” is just less notorious than a fart….

Agreed, this movie is very old. And there are some inaccuracies, I didnt like it that much. The second half was better, and the end was brilliant ... I like the "Mad As Hell" clip, I liked them talking about how bad media and television is, that was my highlight moment ... |

Very interesting doc..
I would not say Christianity in its most pure form is a means of control. John Wycliffe was one theologian and father of the protestant reformation to advocate separation of church and state.
I certainly don't take everything in the doc for what it is, but it is a mind-opener. |

I watched this a while ago and don't completely remember it all. I think I might watch it again when I get some time.
I wasn't blown away by it but I definately think it's worth watching because it is thought provoking. |

I agree. The Essenes were apparently a very benevolent bunch.
I don't want to sound like a peddler of Masonic literature, but I was reading something just recently that delved further into it which I found to be extremely interesting.

BTW - The Essenes were very likely the same people who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls
(which are now in the possession of the Rockefeller Foundation with armed guards watching them 24/7)
