Haven't been back to Boom Boom Room since last time Markus was here, and I'm dissapointed I hadn't made the trek back sooner.
In the absence they've upgraded the classy decor and added much more to the vibe of the club. The new additions are fantastic and put an already top notch club one peg even higher.
Elevation was in true form last night. I can honestly say it was the best set I've heard him play to date, starting with chuggy techno and tech-house building it all the way up to prog-trance with thumping basslines. Awesome set Mike, truly great to listen to.
Markus came on to a packed house and rocked it as expected. He played on fire the entire night opening with his intro-edit and new remix of "Daydream" and also figuratively closing the night out with the original as requested from a fan. From start to finish he had the crowd in the palm of his hand and worked them over great. Everyone in the club (save the kid puking in the downstairs washroom sink) left with smiles on their faces.
Special thanks to Remo for his non-stop VIP treatment and attention to every detail. Truly the mark of a great promoter, and even greater man.
Markus + Elevation: awesome sets and a great party. Thanks again to everyone for a wikkid night. |

i have to agree with Chris that both djs were on fire last night. The opening set by Elevation was really well constructed and sounded really well.
Markus came flying out of the gates with hard and energetic tracks and basically had the whole place going nuts all night. i know for a fact that i was really tired from working, but the beats just kept me moving at least a little bit.
Thank you Remo and BBR for bringing quality djs to Ontario. This was my 2nd time at BBR and i must admit that i love it. The crowd is real nice and not sketchy with lots of people on crazy drugs.
I Can't wait to be back...SOON!
