I'm talking about what you can discern from the piece of music, audible influences. What inspired the creator is quite irrelevant unless it reflects on the music in a way other people can understand. And all i'm saying is that there is no audible electro influence, even if he did say it was influenced by electro it wouldn't be anymore electro than it is death metal if that's what he said was the influence. Do you understand? |

i guessed what you meant but it was bad wording.. saying 'this isn't influenced by electro' is different to saying 'this has no audible electro influences' & you originally said the former ;)

You're right, what i originally wrote is in a literal sense a claim that reaches beyond what i actually meant. Perhaps i could have said "as far as one can tell there is no electro influence" or more modestly "as far as i can tell...". |
